Bolivian Banknotes
BANKNOTE REDESIGN
Here is a set of Bolivian Banknotes also called Bolivianos. In my infographics class, we were tasked with redesigning a random country’s money. After doing lots of research on my country Bolivia I found that the country has a profound history and is home to many different animals. This inspired me to include people involved in Bolivia’s history as well as important landmarks, and even native animals in my designs. Since Bolivia is beautiful and is filled with so much nature I chose a very earthy color pallet of deep and desaturated colors. One of my favorite features of the bills is the braille numbers on two corners of each bill as an accessibility feature for those with impaired vision and who cannot see what number bill they are holding. There are also many security features on the bills like the golden security strip as well as the golden stars on the front and back of each bill.
Issues

Awkward negative space
Colors are all over the place
Inaccessible to visually impaired people
