White River National Forest
BRAND IDENTITY
This is a project that I did in my information graphics class where we were tasked with making a map of an American National Park. I chose White River National Forest in Colorado because it was where my sister recently got engaged. I intended to make a functional map that was also colorful and fun. The color pallet I chose is full of saturated cool and warm tones colors to make the poster fun and energetic. Most of my text is a slab serif because they are typically associated with the Old West and outdoors, and it is also paired with a Western-style display typeface. Combining the bright colors and rugged type choices creates an exciting style within the map. In addition to the map is a digitally illustrated poster, visitor guide, and other brand collateral.
