The Truth About Love- P!NK

This project is a redesign of P!NK’s album “The Truth About Love.” The Album walks you through all of the different stages of falling in love and eventually getting your heart broken. So for my design, I wanted to focus on the juxtaposition of love and hate. I chose to make a collage of Marilyn Monroe where I divided her face into different sections to how heartbreak can break you into pieces. The pieces are either black and white or pink to represent the bad and the good memories combining and becoming a part of who you are. The album primarily listened to women and girls recovering from heartbreak, so I wanted the cover to have an element of grunge to it to communicate women’s empowerment.
